The
DFI-6000 Series expansion
joint provides
the ultimate in design when
ease of installation and
belt removal and/or replacement
are factors of importance.
This high temperature joint
provides the easiest installation
procedures available.

With the formed flanges
being factory punched the
installation crew has only
to align these holes with
those of the companion
flanges and bolt up. With
both the bolt and nut being
readily accessible, final
tightening could not be
quicker nor easier.
The belt is retained by bolts
and nuts which are set up
and away from the other system
components, which may limit
wrench maneuverability.
The liner, which is welded
to the formed flange, can
be easily fitted with a fly
ash shield.
Installation of our INSULATION
SOCK, should it be required,
can be done at the factory
without any changes from
the basic design shown here.
The DFI-6000 series joint
provides functional quality
while eliminating installation
and design problems that
have been previously encountered
within the expansion joint
industry.
Flow liner design must be
based on specific data for
each application in order
to maximize the effectiveness
and provide an extended service
life of the joint. Your sales
representative can discuss
several variations to best
handle the media within your
system.
